1.  Introductory Certificate in Team Leading

 The ILM IMQ Introductory Certificate in Team Leading is a short flexible program that aims to give practising or potential team and cell leaders the foundation for their formal development in their work role.  The program consists of a minimum 22 guided learning hours covering the Role of the Team Leader and a choice of further 5 sessions that will enable the participants to gain the basic knowledge required by a team/cell leader and to develop basic team leading skills. 

This program is suited to all personal who are working in a team with little or no formal training. It is very beneficial as a bridge-back into learning, and provides an ideal start to your future ongoing development. 

The flexible structure makes it highly adaptable to you and your employer's needs. This program is delivered in 3 days or in one week on flexible learning hours.

 Entry/Educational Requirement

No formal educational requirements, but participants ideally should be working teams or cells, though not necessarily in a leadership role, and should have a background and sufficient literacy skills.

2.   Certificate in Team Leading

The ILM IMQ Certificate in Team Leading program is a comprehensive qualification covering in detail the full range of responsibilities of the team/group leader. It is also appropriate for participants working from inside teams, who may not be specially designated as team leaders but who have some responsibility for the group's output.

This full IMQ Certificae in Team Leading program will take a minimum of 65 guided learning hours including induction and tutorial support but excluding assessment time. The program consists of five 3 hour sessions each of teh following 4 Key Areas:

• Team Leading Skills

• Getting The Work Done

• Leading People in Teams

• Communicating With People

This program is available as either an Integrated Certificate (with the nodules delivered and certified together) or delivered, assessed and certified separately as modular route to short sharp flexible learning to ensure an exact fit with individual candidate needs and workplace requirements. 

 Entry/Educational Requirement

No formal educational requirements, but participants ideally should be either practising or aspiring team or cell leaders, and should have a background and sufficient literacy skills to complete and meet the assessment criteria.
