The ILM IMQ Introductory Certificate in Management is a short, flexible program which provides an introduction to the wide range of responsibilities of the first line manager. It is offers a valuable preparation for the future development and can be used as a bridge back into learning and a tightly focused package which can produce a step change in performance.

If you are a first line manager with little or no formal training, or are returning from a career gap, you can benefit particularly from this program which provides an ideal start to your future ongoing development.

This program consists of minimum 34 guided learning hours excluding assessment.

Entry/Educational Requirement

There are no formal educational requirements, but participants ideally should be either practising first lone mangers, team leaders or supervisors; and should have a background and sufficient literacy skills to complete and meet the assessment criteria.

The ILM IMQ Certificate in in Management qualification comprehensively covers the full range of responsibilities of the first line manger. It consists of a minimum 160 guided learning hours excluding assessment.

This program is available as either an Integrated Certificate (with the nodules delivered and certified together) or delivered, assessed and certified separately as modular route to short sharp flexible learning to ensure an exact fit with individual candidate needs and workplace requirements.
